New news from the fat of the land.
Well folks here I am a bona-fide farmer complete with certificate and working happily as the farm manager for Hungry Mother Organics in Carson City Nevada.
The farm is 5 acres organic located in the heart of Northern Nevada Correctional Facility.
I'll keep it simple, its damn good to finally have a home and start living in one place.
This blog began simply to communicate with friends and family as a Peace Corps Ag' Volunteer in Niger, West Africa.
Somehow after Niger, the rabbit hole deepened and folk kept writing in support to go further, so I keep scribbl'n.
I'm not always so diligent on updates, but I do still try to keep up on the typical variety or daily oddities.
Life has been good here so far, new friends, great food, awesome fields, produce, eggs, plants, yadda yadda yadda.
My life is what it is, I love it.
Ain't gonna lie my home is a double wide, pretty bitch'n.
After 3 years of tents, sleeping bags, mud huts and every couch between timbuktu and the Baja my back says enough!!!
- Plus the view makes it bearable. ;;-)
Come visit, you'll work hard, eat well, and be merry! Or else
Remember kids, cubicle life is slow death. Go outside and play.
Be well, enjoy the blog,
Joshua
